- Move Routinewheel to ApplicationsDrag it into your Applications folder. If your Mac asks for an administrator password, put it in an “Applications” folder inside your home folder instead.
- Right-click Routinewheel and choose OpenThen Open again. It isn't signed by Apple yet, so a double-click is blocked the first time. On macOS 15 Sequoia or later: double-click it once, then go to System Settings › Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway.
- Allow what it asks forThe first start downloads about 16 MB. Then allow Accessibility, Input Monitoring and Screen Recording in System Settings › Privacy & Security when Routinewheel asks, so it can press keys, record and see window names.
Under development: far from readyThe Mac version is still being built. It hasn't been tested on a real Mac yet, only on computers made to act like one, so expect some things not to work. The more people try it and tell us what goes wrong, the sooner it runs at full strength. In Routinewheel, open Help and press Tell us what you need, or use the contact form. It needs macOS 11 Big Sur or later, on an Apple silicon or Intel Mac. It isn't signed by Apple yet, so the first time you open it, right-click it and choose Open (on macOS 15 Sequoia or later: System Settings › Privacy & Security › Open Anyway).
Something didn't work? That's what we need to hear. Tell us what you did and what happened, from Help › Tell us what you need in Routinewheel or the contact form.
